Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is at risk of conceding consecutive goals in the Premier League. That equaling the club’s previous manager Frank Lampard.

         The German coach has had great success since taking over at Stamford Bridge in January 2021. That led them to a European Championship title while building their defensive game into one of Europe’s strongest teams.

         However, the team is having trouble conceding goals easily. The team has been penetrated by opponents in the net for 5 consecutive games in the Premier League. This is the first time since Tuchel took over the team.

         Former manager Frank Lampard conceded six goals in a row between January and February 2020. The longest conceding goal in a row to date.

         Chelsea’s latest clean sheet came in a 3-0 thrashing of Leicester City back on 20 November, after which the club conceded eight goals in five games, including 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.
