Germany international Joshua Kimmich has hailed Jamie Leweling impressive debut for the Germans in their win over the Netherlands.
Leweling made his Germany debut by starting against the Netherlands and scoring the winner as his team secured a 1-0 victory and moved top of Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League A on Monday.
Kimmich hail the Stuttgart forward, saying: “Jamie (Leveling) has to be commend. He played an outstanding game, not just for the goals he scored.”
“It’s not often that you get to stand up and be praise by the fans at the Allianz Arena on your debut.”
The Bayern Munich star also spoke about his team’s performance, saying: “We are very happy. We’re very proud of our performance.”
“We did really well in the first half. We had a lot of new players and young players and unfortunately had a lot of injuries, but you don’t really notice.”
Julian Nagelsmann has not been spoil for choice with selections for his squad for the pair of matches during the October international break due to the amount of injuries to some of the usual suspects for the national team, but Leweling prove there are ยูฟ่าเบท other names that can be count on in a time of need.
