Manchester United have confirmed the release of young defender Will Fish to Championship side Cardiff City.

The 21-year-old broke into the club’s first-team in 2021 but was loan out to Stockport for the first half of the 2021/22 campaign before spending two seasons at Hibernian from the summer of 2022. The Red Devils have now confirmed that Fish has joined Cardiff on a four-year deal.
Manchester United’s website said in a statement: “Will Fish has left Manchester United to join Championship side Cardiff on a permanent basis.”
“Fish, 21, is the 240th player to emerge from the Academy after making his senior debut in the 2020/21 campaign as a substitute in the final game of the campaign away at Wolves, having joined the club as a youth player.”
Cardiff boss Erol Bulut said: “He’s a young defender who has been at Manchester United for a number of years so he’s had a good learning curve there. In the last two years he’s been at Hibernian, so we’ve watched him play and we’ve been interest in him since January.”
“We hope he can develop well with us. He’s only 21, just starting his career, and he’s good on the ball, good one-on-one, so he’ll add to our style of play.”
“Of course we have to try our best to stay in the team. He’s not ready to play UFABET yet, so he’ll be with us after the international break. Hopefully he can add something good to our game.”
